Peacefully withdrawing from the USA

So this is all over my facebook newsfeed about differnt state petitioning to withdraw from the United State and create its own NEW government....Its a little scary to me. And i am wondering your thoughts and positions on it. If this happens i can only imagine what the other countries would think about us.

I think it's a bunch of drama queens who aren't thinking of the repercussions before they vote for it.

I doubt it will happen. The states would be their own countries with NOTHING. They were would need to form trade agreements and figure out a way to sustain themselves alone. Our government wasn't set up that way. They would fail.

Maybe so, but its hard to imagine that what our ancestors fought for could possibly fall apart. I mean how would you explain that the USA is no longer 50states, i mean the USA flag would no longer represent the 50states

I hope so, Yea people are upset about the election still, but instead of dealing with it, they formed a petition to remove themselves from everything that we know.

They can be upset all they want but it will take 2/3 of the senators voting yes to let these states leave. I don't see this happening. these are stupid people not thinking about the consequences they might impose on others if they succeed

The inter-state commerce we have in the U.S. is the most collaborative and successful in the world. To secede would completely smurf up the infrastructure of all those states. They're just asking for trouble with that.

But I don't view it as a genuine threat. Just as someone has said before, bunch of drama queens.

I think it should happen, as the federal government is messing with our rights. There is a lot of stuff going on that even the 'political know it alls' dismiss because they are too into what is right in front of their faces.

I don't think states would fail. We are too dependent on china for our products. If we brought that home and employeed our own people here, we would be set up for Economic recovery and thrive as a nation in the long term.

States would absolutely fail. No state can survive in and of itself. To think that is complete ignorance.

I just think Wisconsin would turn into a ghost state. People'd be all "Yeah, smurf that"

Its not just WI there are at least 20states with this same petition

Same goes for all of them. But that's how ludicrous this whole thing sounds.

We have the right to fight the government. To collaborate as a nation to defend the constitution. Our rights our being stripped away one by one. Regardless if we want the US to change or not.. It is already taking place. IMO as a citizen of the United States of America, IMO taking back our individual states could be a first major step toward taking back our voice from the government.
