HELP ASAP!

posted 17th Nov
I'm trying to make something that calls for two tubs of cool whip. I forgot it my first trip to the store and so my husband ran out and grabbed me some. But he grabbed the frozen stuff and I need to use it like, an hour ago for the recipe I'm making.

Does anyone know how I can thaw it out quickly without ruining it or making it taste like smurf?

TIA

Could you put the tubs in warm water?

keep the lid on and make sure that it's completely closed and run it under hot water.

If you have an electric mixer, try that. I normally just stir mine til it's creamy and sort of thawed out. Do not microwave it.

You could also put the tub in a freezer bag and put the bag in hot water in the sink. Just dont leave it there long because it will get liquidy.

Set it out on the counter. It should be thawed in an hours time. If not, whip it with a mixer.

I just did what one of the ladies in this thread told me to do and used the electric mixer to loosen it up to the consistency I needed.
It worked!

thanks everyone!
