Is it it a little much to purchase mask for people to wear when holding my LO?. I had a dream about it and was like thats a freakin great idea. Both families are coming down to see him when he is born, but its winter time and cold time and I dont want him to get sick or anything and breathing germs all on my little baby.

Well you can but if you're Bfing you should have no concerns. It's good for babies to be exposed to germs.

Personally I think it's a little excessive.

I do think it's a bit excessive. Tell people they need to wash their hands before holding baby, have hand sanitizer, and don't let sick people hold baby.

That is a little much IMO... just make sure they aren't sick and wash their hands when holding your LO.

Germs are okay, to an extent. And I think that is over board. But really it is your baby- your choice.

it's more than a bit much. Babies develop their immune system 2 ways. Germs and mama's breast milk. Better to expose them and build their immune system early.
Plus, if a mom handed me a mask, I'd hand her a zoloft and tell her to relax!
