measuring small

Ok so friday I went I. For a repeat u/s 2 weeks ago baby was measuring 5 wk3days. And they found a small tear of fluid measuring 1/2 cm they perscribed progesterone. Well friday I am 7wk6day and baby is measuring 5wk6days. Heart rate was 103 Fluid sac got bigger 3 cm. No cramping no bleeding. And now they are preparing me for either a mc or d&c. I go back wed for a repeat u/s. If i do mc before wed they will make sure everything is out. If i dont and baby doesnt grow they want to do a d&c...Has this happen to anyone else? Any info is greatly appreciated. I am not getting my hopes up and im not giving up on my baby till I see no heartbeat!

I haven't experienced it but if it was me I would do the same. I would not let them do a D&C unless there was no heartbeat seen. Good luck and i'll be praying for you!

I would wait before deciding on a D&C.

But my last pregnancy, the baby measured 2 weeks behind with a HB of 160. The passed away 4 days after that and I didn't find out until what would have been 12 weeks.
