if you live in NY when do you think is a good time to go see the christmas tree ? im not even sure when they put it up, i believe like the first or second week of dec.. when we go we also want to go to Sammys in city island. Im just also not sure whether we should park in jersey & get a bus or train over to the city then come back for the car & go to sammys or just park in the city?!

I have on;y been to new york 3 times and I would not suggest driving. I would catch a train. Its less frustrating and you dont have to worry about parking or traffic... Sorry I dont know when they put it up.

Do NOT...I repeat...DO NOT take your car in the city. It's going to be absolutely chaotic (even more than it already is on a regular basis). It gets crazy during holiday season. Your best bet is going to be either cabs or the subway/train. I don't know when it would be best to go...there's going to be a lot people there in the next couple of weeks.

Take the trans bridge bus in, I think it's $30 a person last we went round trip. I know you can pick it up in Easton, Hellertown, Bethlehem and Clinton. Not sure where in Allentown area. Or just take a bus in from Jersey. I never went but I'd say the earlier the better.
