leaking fluid with negative amniotic strip test

I went back to the hospital earlier today because I was still leaking and more than yesterday. It is clear and dries clear. When I went back they did the strip test again and it still didn't change the color it should have but I noticed that when i got there I did start having white discharge that wasn't there before. Anyway I'm still not dilated so they sent me home. I was also having pretty consistent contractions 2 within 5 min. But still not dilated. Now I'm worried that they may have been wrong and I'm scared my baby will get an infection. I should have asked for a sono to check the fluid levels just in case... Ugh... I feel so dumb, confused, and helpless... :/ what should I do? Is already went twice on at 3am and then again at around 6 pm. I'm just scared they were wrong and she's running out or risking infection.

Amniotic fluid is not white. Increased discharge is normal towards the end.

It's probably just discharge. I would think chances of them being wrong twice is really slim. But, if you're that concerned just call your OB and talk to them about it so they can check things out at your next appointment or maybe even make your appointment sooner if they think it's necessary.

Increase in discharge (which I've noticed has become very watery now) or you're peeing. If it shows up neg. then it's not your waters

I know its not white. I wad leaking clear fluid and STILL leaking clear fluid but for some reason when I went in I did have a small amount of white discharge. I think that may be why they blew it off thinking that's what I was leaking and since that's what was there when they checked thats what they tested... I think I'm just going to do a lot of walking.
