Sore nipples

Im breastfeeding (im a new mommy) and she finally has learned to latch on but my nipples are so sore is there anything I can do to help with that?

coconut oil worked wonders for me. You do not have to wipe it off in between feedings. Many women have luck with Lanolin, but my daughter did not like it, I do not like that it is not all natural.

Do you feel like it is just normal soreness or do you feel like maybe you are in pain from a latch issue?

ok   does it hurt while she's nursing? or your nips are just sore from the stimulation? I remember being sore in the beginning. this will pass  
Expressing a bit of breastmilk on your nips and letting them air dry in between feeding can help also. I spent a lot of time without a shirt/bra on in the early weeks.

lanolin worked wonders for me.

Lanolin was a life saver for me. My nipples were super sore for the first two weeks and it was horrible to nurse for about a week but the lanolin made it 100% better Congrats on finally getting to meet your little girl
