HELP ME.!

I have my 3 month old little girl screaming because she's so constipated she just fell asleep but I know when she wakes up it will start again. I would call her doc. But they are closed && take forever to reply to my messages. I was wandering what I can do to help her. I just tried oatmeal with formula because she wasn't getting full, now she's stopped up ,, any advice will help.

you can try inserting a thermometer into her rectum to help stimulate bowel movement. you can give her a baby suppository, oh yeah, and she is 3 months old, so DONT give her any solids. her body isnt ready for it yet thats why shes constipated.

!!! Three months? She is not ready, that's why she is stopped up..and if she was you should mix in the cereal not oatmeal. I had to give my son cereal at 4 1/2 months because of gerd... Are you sure she isn't full.. She prob just is going through a growth and is eating more, not meaning she isn't getting full...

They have suppositorys

A little water mixed with prune juice should help that. Don't do this unless she is truly constipated like hard nuggets..

Try abdominal massage. Also do bicycles with her legs. When my lo was that age his pedi also told me to apply a cotton ball dampened with warm water to his rectum to help stimulate a bowl movement. Hope this helps.

My son had a lot of stomach problems as infant and still to this day. His doctor told me to give him 2oz apple juice with 2oz water or 2oz prine juice with 2oz water. Also try bicycle legs and massaging his stomach in a half moon patern counter clockwise. Hope your LO feels better.

My doctor had me give my baby a few ounces of pear juice. So basically give your baby some juice or a juice and water combo and it should do the trick.

I do the thermometer trick. works wonders. just put it in as long as you would to take her temp. you can also give gerber apple prune, 1/2 oz - 1oz. or just regular prune juice works

Nope i'm never doing that again. If you want to get things going fast apple juice or prune juice mixed with water will for sure make her go.
