CT scan

A couple days ago, I had to have a ct scan to rule out pulmonary embolism which thankfully all went well. At the scan the tecnicisan covered my belly to add extra protection to my baby but i still worry. Has any one had to be expose to radiation during their pregnancy and all was ok with your little one?

i had to twice and my lo was fine

A CT doesn't have radiation (as far as I know)

Did you mean a VQ scan? Where they injected dye to check for a PE?\


ETA that I just looked it up and a CT does use radiation

I had a VQ scan to check for PE when I was pregnant. Cora is fine. I think I had a few chest xrays as well
