clingy baby :)

I love cuddling with my little man and i know he loves his mama but i need space!!!   his clingyness is getting worse and worse. he use to sleep in his crib just fine and then it turned into my bed and then he needed his face smooshed into my boobs. this week it has gone from needing to hold my hand while he sleeps to laying on my chest. i think it may have to do with his teeth coming in but i not sure. is it normal for a ten week old to get more "clingyer" if thats even a word  

Aw! My little man is the complete opposite until bed time!

He's about to be eleven months but he already has a "I'm a big man" attitude. You try to cuddle and he just wants to run off; we try to kiss him and he'll turn his head and giggle.
I love when he's super tired, he'll just lay there with me... but that's rare I have to fight him to go to bed almost everyday, haha.

DS is exactly the same he loves to snuggle or be played with. I get a few minutes throughout the day when he's in his chair or door bouncer but that's about it :/ sometimes it gets to me, like when I haven't had a chance to eat or drink lol, but meh I just get on with it, sometimes the house is a state but it can wait.

Yes, definitely normal. He's still a newb!

mine was a cuddler at that age. now hes almost 4 months hes starting to sleep in his bassinett

Aw,i wish mine would let me cuddle him. He hates it. lol

I have been told that's pretty normal for newborns. My son slept on my chest for the first 2 months of life and he was also pretty much glued to me when he is awake. Try to enjoy it they grow up so fast. I still can't believe DS is going to be 6 months.

He's just becoming older and more aware. Before his needs were just sleeping and eating - now he has a preference on HOW he wants to sleep lol. My 5 month old has been clingy since birth. I co-slept in the hospital because he refused to sleep in the bassinet away from me lol.

I have to wait til he's exhausted to put him on my lap and watch tv together.. & that's rare.

I love cuddling with him, its just when I need to pee or make dinner and he won't let me put him down for two seconds. I was able to get him to sleep in his swing today while I was organize his old clothes and putting them away. I found his first outfit and start bawling. It was so tiny and he is already in 3-6 month clothes and getting a tooth!
