cereal for reflux

For those who have put cereal in their newborns bottle for reflux, how much did you add per ounce? The pediatrician told us 1tsp per ounce but that seems like a lot for an 8 week old.

That's the amount i used for my lo at 3 months,for the same reason.

It wasn't super thick? I just started yesterday but have only been putting 1tsp in his 4oz bottle.

No it wasn't thick for me,but then again my lo was eating 6oz at that age.

both my girls had acid reflex my oldest got it later on and my youngest had it at a month old she got put on enfamil ar it's in an orange canister it worked wonders for her no more spit ups and no more crying baby its think because its made with rice cereal in it so we ended up using Nuk bottles the ones with air hole in the nipple so she could drink it
