tampon pain *tmi*

Just a while ago i had a tampon on and it felt like it was hanging out and i was very uncomfortable. I went to to take it out and when i pulled on the string it hurt really bad! It felt like it was stuck, the only way i can explain it is like a cork in a wine bottle. It was a really little tampon so i dont know why i couldnt take it out. It took a while too and it felt like if i pulled it out hard it would kind of suck more stuff out with it like a plunger . . its kind of weirding me out i dont really use tampons that often because there uncomfortable for me so is this normal?

No clue, wish I could help. I am experiencing the same damn thing! I was all fine but this is my first PP period after having my daughter. Which means this is the first time I've used tampons in a year. I switched brands and got OB tampons, much more comfortable IMO.

Are you inserting them in far enough? I know they hurt a lot when they aren't in all the way. And was the tampon you took out dry? Or full? I've noticed the drier they are the more they hurt to pull out

Yeah it was in pretty far and it was in for about an hour?

  Im almost 4 weeks pp & tampons are still uncomfortable to wear. I never had that problem before

honestly it isnt. it was only messy the first time when i was trying it for the first time. Its a silicone cup that you put inside you and it holds the fluid. sounds gross but to me i dont feel like im even on my period. and the great part is you can leave it in until it gets full and not worry about infections unlike tampons. once you learn how to take it out and when the best time to do it before it gets to full than your good.

this could be TMI too .. but sometimes if im not 'wet' down there and I put a tampon in or right after i put it in if i go dry I get the sameee exact thing.
