Not too sure

So I went to the hopital on Tuesday night with bad menstral like cramps and major braxton hicks, which turned out to be contractions. They thought I was dehydrated so the gave me 2 bags of fluids and nothing changed. They kept me overnight to monitor me, I had contractions all night. The checked me and I wasnt dialated at all. I have been contracting since, but not as bad. But tonight Its getting worse, the bad menstral like cramps start to radiate down my legs and the "contractions" will happen like 4-5 in a row and be pretty strong but with no pain for the most part. Then they stop for a bit and start again. I lost my mucous plug today and even more not too long ago. Im not sure what to do. Advice please?
Im sorry if its stupid but this is my first pregnancy and im just nervous.
