You sound like my sister. My niece (she is only a few years younger than me) grew up on scary movies instead of Disney! haha She turned out pretty awesome to be honest.

My daughter is a scaredy-cat.... even the dark shadows on "the Princess and teh Frog" scared her at first! A horror movie would scar her for life.

We know our kids and their limitations!
