pets and your kids

I got a 2yr old pitbull weve had for 4 months, shes gotten so close to my almost 4yr old son that he goes to school and she stares out the window the whole time crying, She nips at SO if hes playing with our son, she has to sleep with him climbs on the top bunk and sleeps with him up there...

Its too cute and I love it! My question is...

Does anyone else have a pet that just cant seem to be away from there special kid?

we had a 8 yr old rottie named zok.. he would sleep in front of my 18 month olds crib.. then toddler bed.. he would allow DS to use him as a pillow. he was the best dog ever.. sadly we had to put him down last weekend. DS is still trying to find him but idk how to explain it.

My dog Marli is a smurf/Pomeranian and she loves DD she sleeps in her room comes and gets me if the baby is awake and not crying lets Ava climb and pull all over her and she just snuggles up with her and loves on her   DD is 7 months

My parents got a rottweiler puppy when I was a few months old, we "grew up" together he was my best friend as a toddler, always by my side.
