I think Charlie is a cute unisex name, but Blake is definitely a boy's name. If you're set on it, I really hope it's a boy. >_<

It is absolutely stupid and idiotic to name a girl a boys name. SMH Blake is a BOYS name and it should never be on a GIRL

So would you consider Brayden a girls name since I know a girl named Brayden?

Charlotte with the nickname of Charlie is a good girls name. But Charlie as a given name on a girl would be stupid

Agreed, Charlie was on my list when I was pregnant with Darcy. It will remain on my list too

I love reading post where people go ape smurf over things like this..

If she names her girl a boy name, or her boy a girl name, she'll be the one that has to deal with it if the child gets made fun of for it.. not any of you.

She asked for a simple opinion. Not to be stomped on and spit at.

I happen to think Blake is a cute boy or girl name. If I have another little girl someday, her name will be Keegan. I've recieved plenty of bad comments for that one...

Just as she can name her kid whatever she wants we have the right to say whatever we want about the name if she posts it publicly. She asked for opinions, you can't expect people to sugar coat their opinion because someone might get their panties in a bunch.

True, you can. But do you really have to go THAT far with it?
