I will too since that is what we are hoping for but I don't care what the baby is as long as I carry to term and he/she is healthy.

And every girl with a boys name will be a super successful rich blond?

I bet you asked her, she'd say that she was teased horribly and everyone thought it was weird she had a boys name.

for those who won't be like her, they can expect to be called Sir and refused service because their info has a mans name on it.

that is a completely ridiculous argument!

I will also keep my finger's crossed, that if you do have a girl, you pull your head out of your ass and find something beautiful and strong, that doesn't have a penis attached to it. ATM i think you're so focused on getting a boy, you are going to name a girl a boys name just to make yourself feel better.

Ehhh, my head isn't in my ass. This was after a long conversation with my SO seeing as we picked two names from the start of our relationship for children Taryn and Blake and since I've had such horrible time holding a pregnancy we want this baby to have a name we both love and cherish and have such hope for.

We are using this name regardless because we feel as if this is it for us because I barely pushed this hard TTC again because I didn't want to suffer anymore losses.

Nah, i'm good. Emerson or Jude will be my boy's name.
I'm hoping for no boys though, so it's not highly anticipated

Thats a bit harsh. You dont have to like the name & you already told her your opinion but thats just rude.

Op i think its a good name. I only suggested it as a middle because it does sound more "girly" if you switch the names but i voted yes it can work for both. Congratulations btw!

I'm Taylor, my daughter's Mackenzie, and my next girl will hopefullu be Quinn.

But, if SO doesn't like Quinn, I'll shoot for Rosalie, which.is a girl name lol.

/we are pretty stuck on Alexander/Alexandra on the middle name in remembrance of my SO's grandfather who he was extremely close with who passed away earlier this year. His name was Alexander so we didn't want to really use it as a first name.

Saying that it isn't unheard of as a woman's name is a ridiculous argument? All I'm saying is that i think it works for either sex. And I don't believe I ever said that she was going to be a super successful blonde lol. I hated my name growing up because there were at least three others in every class or team I was on/in. I knew a couple girls (sisters) growing up named Sean and Ryan, if you asks me Blake is a lot more unisex than those and at least it isn't some outrageous made up name with random capital letters and an apostrophe. It could be worse.
And like I said I don't like the name but it could be worse and it's not my kid. Depending what this baby is they will either be Ephraim Paul or Delilah Gertrude, I'm sure not everyone will love my name choices either.

As do I. I hope he goes for it

But, it'll be at least 5 years before it's even up for discussion, lol.

Love Alexandra, its my little girls name. Not that fond of Blake only because I know a Blake who I don't like. Good middle name choices though.
