ointments or treatments on a rash
posted 16th Nov
My son has a rash on his bottom. It comes and goes. I've taken him to the doctors several times and they just keep saying its normal blah blah and that it could be his pull ups. I've switched and switched and STILL he gets it. It's just little bumps on his bottom. I feel soooo bad for my little fella. Any tips on ointments or treatments?

A super thin layer of vaseline will protect the skin.

My daughter almost completely stopped getting rashes when we switched to cloth diapers. But when she does get them, I use coconut oil and so far it's really helped.

I'm just trying to get this gone. I HATE seeing him with it. He doesn't act like it itchs or anything and it honestly looks like pimples and I know that's not what they are. Plus the only time he has a pull up on is at night or when we go out just in case.

This exactly except we just go ahead and use coconut oil as a barrier with each change because her skin is SUPER sensitive. Since we started this is the first month she's gone totally rash free!!
And she looooves cloth!!
