Why not turn her around to be front facing before jumping to the booster?

By giving into your kid just because it makes YOU more comfortable and risks your child's life. Awesome. Teaches them they're the boss.

My kid can scream til he's blue in the face, and his butt will be rearfacing until he outgrows the limits.

shes rearfacing shes 5months i switched her from the pumpkin seat to a convertable

Size doesn't have anything to do with her bone structure.
Bones don't ossify til sometime between 4 and 6 years old.

I can't wait for the day I get to look at my kid and say "Suck it up, I'm the mom and I say so." lol

My son is 4 and does the same thing! I told him to please put it back where Mommy had it because if we got pulled over i would get in trouble by the cops and its not safe. It worked. He still does it sometimes but when i tell him to put it back he does.

yea because DD has only had homemade baby food she doesnt get sugar, juice junk wont be eating fastfood she eats foods without perservatives greenbeans from the garden ect no i dont believe i need to have her rearfacing till shes 16 i wasnt and the law is 1yr and 20lbs she will out grow her seat rearfacing after 2

I dont even care about this bitchfest going on, (though it is funny   )
but I REALLY smurfing hate when someone says, 'and the law is 1 year and 20 pounds' whether or not they go by that law. because law makers dont know smurf about child safety and safety seats. seriously. using that in any kind of defense is ridiculous.

DD carseat says RF up to 35lbs kepping her RF past that wouldnt be safe its reccomended to keep them RF as long as possible but infants under one are required to be RF she will be turned FF on her second birthday IMO making a 4 5 or 6 y/o RF is extreme and they parents are paranoid again IMO
