Pitocin causes tons of stress on both mother and babys body. Also, how do you know your body is ready unless you try. OP, I'm not judging. I naturally induced early to avoid medical induction.

pitocin causes stress yes... but she'd be constantly monitored. I'm just saying.. if it's for medical reason.. she should probably be monitored while induced.

Depends on the reason. Like I said I'm not judging, I don't know her circumstances. Castor oil has no risks that have been concluded. Only assumes and researched. But no conclusive data. Pitocin on the other hand has plenty of documented complications that would requirw monitoring. I'm simply letting OP know what worked for me.
