crazy and scary day!

I went to my routine doctors appointment today for my Strep b and to check for dilation but when they checked my blood pressure it was really high so they took me straight back and the midwife came in to ask if i was seeing any spots or having headaches. i told her i had been for a few weeks and she continued to listen to the heart beat and do the swab. She then tells me that they have already known i had a trace of strep b i my urine MONTHS ago and that i should have already known which nobody bothered to tell me! so i'm positive :/ well she checked my cervix and said his head was extremely low and that explained my extreme pain in my cervix. I told her he hadn't been active much today so she put me on the monitor and after 15 minutes they came in and same he was rolling onto his cord and his heart rate was dropping really low and that i needed to go to L&D asap so i head for the hospital and they monitor him and say he's still having the drops in his heart rate and to watch for pre e signs and if he doesn't move a certain amount of times in a hour to come straight back so i'm on strict bedrest and can only get out of bed to go to the bathroom. i'm terrified about his heart rate dropping and everything to go with it. needless to say i'm exhausted mentally and physically!

I'm sorry to hear that! You must have been so scared! I'm sure it's going to be tough to be on bed rest, but keep reminding yourself that theres only a month left to go and you are doing everything you can to keep your baby healthy growing inside of you. I hope everything goes well, who knows, maybe this bed rest thing will be temporary! Good luck hun!

Yeah your right it will probably be hard especially through thanksgiving but i'll do everything i can to make sure he's healthy! thanks for the support
