What does this mean?

I woke up this morning, throwing up... I slept it off & now that I'm making dinner I feel like fainting. I'm having cramps & I've tried going to the bathroom but all I'm feeling is my stomach tensing up & it's hard on the outside.. I'm 30 weeks pregnant, what does this mean or what should I do?

The tensing up sounds like contractions.. are you able to time them?

Braxton hicks? Drink some water maybe you are dehydrated from throwing up.

Could be braxton hicks contractions but it could be preterm labor too. If u can time the tightening and u get more than 6 in an hour or if u cant walk or talk during them then go to l&d. I would atleast call my doc or the on call doc for their advice.

It just started & they were like 10 minutes apart. It happened about three times while I was standing up & now I'm laying down, it's more frequent & I feel like throwing up...

Don't call. Just go. Sounds like what happened to me with my daughter. The faster you get there the more chance you have of not progressing

if the contractions didn't hurt, they are Bracks and Hicks. If they did hurt, they are real contractions and you need to call LD!

When i was pg with my first son i was having big contractions and they didnt hurt but they were progressing me. I dont always go by whether they hurt and neither does my doc.

Please go in right away. At 30 weeks with my second I started experiencing what you were. I was having timable contactions that i couldnt feel as well as some i could. I got there in enought time that they did stop it. However, I called an hour after they started and I was dilated to 2 and 50 effaced. Dont wait.

Well it's pretty much slowed down now, I drank a couple glasses of water & it only hurts a little bit now. I can feel the baby move a little bit, so maybe not contractions.. I have a bicornate uterus, which means I could go into preterm labor, should I still go even though it has slowed down after I drank water.. Sorry I don't wanna seen ignorant, but I don't have the money to keep going in the hospital /:

Just call the after hours line if u have one. But yeah if u were dehydrated it could have triggered contractions. Keep laying down and timing them. If they stop or are spacing out more should be fine.
