I don't know. There are so many resources out there, that there is no need to beg over the internet. Fire stations, churches, and many other places "adopt" families during the holidays. Begging on craigslist is sketchy.

Well I once read one of those ads of someone needing a carseat for her daughter.. she told me the baby had nothing. I offered her the one my daughter just outgrew and it wasn't a cheapie, it was a very nice girly carseat that was less than a year old, I wanted it to go to a person in need so I had her come pick it up for her baby.

First she told me she was a single mother but as she was getting out of the car to come in, she gave the male driver a big kiss.. hmmm.
Second, she said her daughter never had a carseat, as they were pulling out of my driveway, I noticed her baby was already in the EXACT same carseat I just gave her.

Something made me check the website a few hours later and sure enough the carseat was listed for sale for $80, I emailed it with a different email and sure enough it was her.. she was putting ads up looking for freebies (for a desperate single mom whose daughter had nothing) but then she turns around and sells the things.

One bad apple sure can ruin people's trust in others.

Idk..we tried to get help once and they said they were out of funds. Luckily, my mom's boss has the church get our kids gifts. I was VERY thankful. I didn't even ask...
