I dont usually get pissed but this is rediculus. Don't come in here and be a bitch. This is for supporting one another not making everyone feel bad for having coping issues with their past. YEah good for you, you can get past it. But MOST of us can't. It affects our lives so much everyday. It's hard to admit abuse. I didn't even tell my So about my abuse until we had been together for years. And he's the ONLY one irl who I have told. It's not something everyone can just blow off like it didn't happen. We're all doing the best we can and helping each other along the way. If u aren't here to be supportive then find a new place to go.

Why are you comparing? Just because I'm not dying from a disease doesn't mean that I didn't go through something traumatic. Why are you trying to deny us the right to mourn, complain, and heal?

This isn't a d&d smurf.

You are a smurfing bitch. Get the smurf out. If your kids ever come to you and tell you that they have been abused by someone (becaue it can and does happen even with parents who arent smurfing smurfs like you) are you going to tell them to change their mentality and stop being a victim? Smurf off.
And this isn't a smurfing debate and discuss about how you feel about the word victim. My mother was an abusive sadistic parent and it effected me negatively, I'm glad that I'm aware of thAt so I don't repeat the pattern with my own children.
I have an ex who locked me in a house for three days raping me repeatedly and then when I broke up with him he sent naked pictures of me (that he too when I wasn't looking) to my work, my parents, my grandparents, and about 20 other people I love. But I'm not a victim, it's just a mentality right? Smurf you. I certainly didn't choose to be his victim.
