damn. This is why I'm so thankful that I got my degree in what I did. ANY place that I could ever possibly work at would not function that way.

idk... clinic hours would be nice... but I was told the pay is about 60% of what I make. Not only do I LOVE my job.. but I'm not willing to take that paycut.

I quit that job over a year ago and just started dating him 6 weeks ago. We are out in the open though, so it probably wouldn't look good if I started working for him again.

Honestly, I doubt anyone would care (except maybe the other employees).

xray tech. I make $1 less an hour than DH does working at the hospital. That's not really fair though, because I'm technically a hospital employee, working for one of the ortho surgeons in his office. BUT I was making another dollar an hour working for a different doc in her office and I was not a hospital employee.

It's a family business. His ex-step daughter works there, his ex-wife does, and so does my ex-mother in law. I started working there because I married my ex-husband. Yeah, It wouldn't be pretty.

If it were any other business, there would probably be no problems. You can't date your boss in a family business like that!

Ahh... yeah, lol. The people that determine my pay have nothing to do with the actual office I work in.

Smurf. Hopefully there will be a spot open when I graduate.  

I loooove my job! (Sometimes! lol) Pay is one of the reasons why I'll never leave, as well as being able to take my child with me to work when we do have a baby!

Does the xray tech program require math classes? It is my only weak point but I think I could get help and get through it....I'm looking for a new career and this has sparked my interest lol

Almost any degree requires a basic algebra class or two.

I only had to take one math class as a pre req (the one right befre college algebra) and we had to take a physics greared toward radiology. Trust me, i suck at math and i passed it all (with a lot of work but still passed!).
