Beacuse of my schedule... I gave my oldest a shower (3) around 8:30pm and since i have been drying her hair with the drier i noticed its started to get dry ends... so i didnt dry her hair i just used a towel to dry off and was still damp as she went to sleep.. now that she woke up she is caughing ...sneezing and runny nose!! GREAT!! now im a bad mom and she is sick because i was trying to not damadge her hair with the hair dryer... ughhh now what??

There has been a lot of colds and stuff going around right now, she probably would'v gotten it regardless. and if she napped I am sure you towel dried it as much as you could and had her snuggled under a blanket   SO I honestly doubt it was because of something you did hun!

Stop blow drying her hair and maybe give her a bath earlier so it can air dry on its own? 3 year olds don't need a blow out. lol

She got sick from germs not wet hair.

wet hair does not increase the likelihood that she will be exposed to germs.

colds and flus come from germs, not from weather or dampness.

I sleep with wet hair almost every single night and have since I was very very young. I didn't even own a blow dryer til I was 25 (I have bone straight hair, no need to blow it dry for style). The only reason that my son doesn't sleep on wet hair is because his hair dries 3 minutes after its toweled off.

I don't think I have ever blow dried my kids hair after a bath. You did not do this...she caught something - most likely 24-48 hours even before her bath.

Going to bed with damp hair doesn't make you sick.. She's sick because of germs.

wet hair will not cause you to get sick. It's cold/flu season. by the time you show symptoms you have had the bug for 2-3 days.

yeah i wasnt trying to make it fancy of course but preventing things like this so yeah earlier bath is good... now do you keep her hair up in a pony tail or do you clip it? because if i leeave it down all the back of her shirt or pj will be soaked?? Thanks

thats pretty good... i grew up with blow dryer and have to stop doing mine.. lol but if i dont .. its super frizzy and just all over the place pooofy ... ahhh anyways.. lol
