super update!!

I haven't been on here in like a year and A LOT has happened! But in a nutshell..

I had thyroid surgery last December to remove a thyroid tumor my doctor had discovered during a gyn appointment (of all things). It turned out to be benign (thank God) so they removed half of my thyroid and i was placed on thyroid medication that I will have to take for the rest of my life (it is what it is!)

I'm still in school and getting straight A's whoo! I've changed specialties from oncology to pathology. More schooling, yay!  

Scarlett started pre-school and she loves it! She has certain issues that need to be worked out, it's definitely been an adjustment for it.

But perhaps the most exciting news is that I got engaged this past July! And I'd love to share some pics from our engagement session
