12 weeks [comparison pics!]

posted 16th Nov
So, I'm 12 weeks 2 days. 12 weeks is when I started getting comments from strangers about my belly with my first. Since my good friend Phucket was curious as to how much bigger you can get with subsequent pregnancies, i figured I'd share a comparison so she can see the difference.

Starting weight with each pregnancy: 168, 165, 147 (so in the last pic I'm 20lbs lighter than my previous two pregnancies [30lbs down from this past January] and, thus, have MUCH less belly fat)

sorry some are slightly distorted. I was trying to make them the same size, haha.

You have such a cute bump! You seem to be carrying a little lower this time.

I was going to say you seem to be carrying the same this time as your top right picture, then I realized they're the same pic   lol

I definitely am. My uterus is still pretty high (about 2 inches below my belly button), but baby is DEFINITELY all down low. Heartbeat is still like right above my pubic bone, even though the top of my uterus is much higher. Doc said my placenta is at the top and back of my uterus, so baby has to stick lower.

lol I'd totally love to be the girl in my avi. Sadly I'm not asian
This is me:

If it makes you feel any better, I had zero clue what you looked like until you posted your family pics on here (the one of you with the pregnant skeleton shirt)

I think you looked biggest with D but you were carrying an extra 20lbs. And it looks like your bump is in the same place just that there was more curvature above with Smidget and D again prob the 20 extra pounds. I wish I had taken more belly pics so I could compare.

That is good! Movement will be easy for you to feel. I am still kind of bummed about the whole anterior placenta thing but it's ok   Glad to see things are going well!

I think you're cuter than the avi girl. But she has epic funny faces. I have no funny face skills.

And when I posted those pics, someone said she always thought I was fat and ugly. I was like "WTF?!?" haha. Sooo strange.

the 20lbs does make a big difference.

And EVERY time you get pregnant, I lecture you about pictures. You always say "but I don't like the way I look" and all that BS, but the fact is you should take them at certain specific weeks, even if not every week like me! 12, 20, 30, 36 and weekly after that (to see how big you get by the end). Its FUN to compare back and see how different your body can be each time!

And, yes, I'm going to continue to lecture you EVERY time
