re: Kissing your kids.

I give her kisses allllllllllll over her face. DH had given her kissies and the lips, and he's her step dad. I guess I never thought about it. I don't plan on doing it on the lips even she's a teenager or anything. But mt cousins still do and they're in their 20s with their parents.

I do, but I never did with my parents. I only have DD kiss me or SO on the lips, everyone else is the cheek.

i still kiss my parents on the lips. hell my mom kisses her mom on the lips still nothing wrong with that. so yes I kiss my kids on the lips. Dh barely ever kiss the kids at all and never on the lips. he never says anything about me doing it though.

I had many relatives that kissed on the cheek and many on the lips, my dad was more of a hug guy and my mom would kiss on lips or cheek.
I have always kissed my daughter on both, but we do kiss on the lips. My husband (her step dad who she wholely sees as a dad) also kisses her on the lips. Her real dad and step mom also do. Her real dad's mom whom I am extrememly close with kisses her grandkids, and even me on the lips so I see why her real dad is okay with it. I don't see the problem with it. Just how we were raised. My husband (the stepdad) was raised by his grandmother who is big about hugging and kissing on the cheeks or lips or whereever she can catch you! lol

We kiss our girls on the lips, and my parents and close friends kids them on the lips too. Emma gets really upset when someone doesn't kiss her and that's what she wants.

I don't see a problem with it, unless their like 14 or something.

When I was 14 I kissed my mom on the lips, and probably will forever. It's only ever a goodbye kiss and hug anymore though.

I kissed DS on the lips until he started turning his head at around 2 years old. I kiss DD on the lips, but don't know if there is an age at which I would stop. My mom never kissed us, so I have no idea what I'm going to do.

I might change my mind when Piper is 14.

Elliot won't let me and he's only 8. he's getting increasingly modest in his old age. Ugh! He'll be a teenager before I know it.

How is that inappropriate? Seriously. My 26 year old brother still kisses my mom on the lips we all do. There is nothing wrong or inappropriate about it at all. Its not like it is sexual.
