re: 37 weeks & not dilated/thinned

We did walk tonight, I think that's why I'm getting some of these lol & now like my energy is shot. It's only 8:30 & I think I'm going to seriously go to bed!

Yeah I don't remember pressure being THAT bad with my son but this time... holy smurf..... I work full time though with kids & constantly up/down/up/down. Which is why I honestly thought I'd be dilated but nope. So I guess the pressure is just going to be the #1 pain for me... for NOW lol until actual labor hits then I'm sure I'll be in tears due to contractions.

At 37 weeks I was completely closed with no signs of labor. Just a BH here and there. So you're definitely close. And the best part is that labor is easier when you're active during pregnancy. My labor went really well...fast and natural.

Hoping it goes well for me this time around!!! If my uterus collapses again or I hemorrhage... Lord help me. I was in labor for 25 hours & pushed for 3 of those hours. Crazyness.

Oh man.   I was in labor with my first for around 30 hours. He came 5 weeks early. I don't remember how long I pushed but it was awhile. Then I held him for like a second before he was taken to NICU. I swore I'd never go through it again but I'm glad I did because my second son's birth was absolutely prefect. They say the second is usually easier.  

Ooh I can definitely understand why you are worried, that is scary.

Have they said whether or not that was just a freak occurrence or if your chances of having that happen again are larger this time? Was it just because he was on the bigger side or were there other factors involved?

My mom had a bunch of kids and was never dilated until the day she went into labor. I was never checked so I don't know.
