when can i start working out?

i'm 2 weeks postpartum and i had an uncomplicated vaginal birth. my labor was short, i only pushed for 30 minutes, and i had no tearing. im still bleeding, but it's not heavy anymore. i have been going on 3 mile walks since 1 week postpartum. would a light jog be overdoing it?

I think as long as you stop if you feel at all funny, light jogging would be okay.
If you're really paranoid, call up your doc and ask?

I was always told to wait 6 weeks to get clearance from the doctor to exercise

If you feel up to it, try it and see how it goes. My doc said I could workout as soon as I felt up to. I tried to do a sit up(ONE sit up) around 2 weeks pp and I about died. But I had a few stitches.

I think jogging would be okay especially since you've been walking.. but if you feel any kind of sharp pains or anything like that I'd quit.

I'd say as long as u feel up to it.

I guess I agree with everyone else and if you feel up to it than I think you'll do fine

I was wondering when you were going to start exercising again.
I had such an uncomplicated birth after Nat that I went back to work 3 weeks after having her. (I worked as a CNA so lots of exercise!), but with Mac, I just didn't feel up to it. I felt like I was busy enough.
It think it's up to you. Light exercise would probably be fine if you feel good enough.
