in my experience I loved the pack n play with the bassinet and changer. We used the changer until he was about 5 months old and the bassinet until he was 3 months.

yea that's how my son did it, he isn't one for sleeping flat on his back any more for some reason lol. But it's no different than his crib mattress. and like I said with ours the floor moves to 3 different levels just like his crib mattress. with the napper they will out grow it but I also guess that depends on how long you use it for. My issue with ours is I can't put it out in the open bc our cat will want to lay in.

You don't need a napper... The bassinet/higher part is enough. I recommend using the MamaDoo Kids mattress topper for extra comfort and support. It has the perfect firmness and folds in 3. Good luck!
