My dr gave me an RX for this and i havent taken any bc in a couple years.. loestrin was the last I took and made me feel like a psychopath. What experience has anyone who has taken this had?? Did you gain any weight on it?

It made me a raging bitch.   Gave me headaches, and made me nauseous. I also bled an entire month once.

I didn't notice any weight change while on it, mostly because I have a thyroid problem too. I don't have any issues with my period either, but I also don't take the last week of sugar pills, I just start a new pack.. I've been on it 3 years.

I have been on it for two years and the only problem I have had is a little bit of weight gain.

For the year or so that I was on it I never noticed any weight gain or had any side effects whatsoever. I ended up having to switch to something else though since apparently it causes high blood pressure and my OB found out I have early onset of heart disease and high blood pressure in my family.

I didn't have any side effects while I was taking it. It's low hormone though so be sure to take it at the same time everyday.!

Could just be from the exam and all. My BP is always a little high when I have a doctor appointment due to driving there(I LOATHE driving lol), carting 3 kids with me and then of course I'm always nervous at any doctor appointment I go to. If its really high at the beginning of the appointment they usually take it again before I leave and since I have calmed down it will be back to normal.
