But when you're pregnant it isn't worth the risk IMO

Ya could make you really sick. I can't tell you how many times I've had to pass up eating some cookie dough. You can buy cookie dough ice cream that's safe to eat.

There is a recipe on Pinterest for eggless cookie dough, just to eat lol.... But I ate regular cookie dough when I was pregnant and my daughter is fine.

Lol and it's that persons personal choice if they want to eat it or not while pregnant. They also tell you not to eat deli meat unless you warm it up first, how many people do you think really listen to that?

Just so you don't have to worry about getting sick try as chocolate chip cookie dough dip. It's really easy to make and it's amazing! I made it for a dessert at my wedding in august and still have people asking for the recipe lol

there is a big difference between listeria and salamonella. also you can not see or smell either of those. so how do you know if the eggs are contaminated until you are already sick? dont get me wrong, i had a couple bites when i was pregnant. but it is not recomended for a reason.

Exactly! You don't know until it is too late.

mmmm i love cookie dough!
there's risks in eating ANYTHING that's been bought in a grocery store. for example, did you know that packaged greens could contain listeria, the SAME bacteria they can be present in deli/lunch meats so you should avoid them?
yeah. i've given up even caring and just eat what i want. otherwise i'd starve lol
