Oh yeah. SHE is the one that sounds like a bitch.

You don't let them? How exactly do you stop them?

By correcting her and getting her to calm down, you know, being a parent.

Yeah, you must have magical powers if you "correct them" before they do it, her kid screamed once.

That was rude of her to say, I HATE it when people stare at screaming or kids just throwing fits, you have all those people looking like if they've never seen it before, acting all offended o_O while I do agree that in a situation like that I personally would have just left. I Have a bratty 15 month old right now and he's in the phaze where he just throws the biggest fits I try my best to teach him that it's wrong and No but he's still has to catch on, But really we don't need anyone staring or saying rude comments when they see we're struggling ughhh inconsiderate people

Right. Of course she did all she was supposed to do AFTER pages of people commenting.

Lmao! Only AFTER people said "well it's rude to let your children scream" does she say, well she only yelled once.   yeah sure. Not mention that in your OP, then it would have made the lady making the coffee sound rude had the kid yelled once and OP had stopped her.

Eh with two kids I probably would have went to a drive thru somewhere to get a coffee if I needed it. (i don't drink coffee, just saying what I would do) The lady did sound rude though. I know sometimes my kid will scream while shopping but he doesn't scream the whole time I'm in the store. He'll get upset at some point of being in the store every time and I have to shop, he won't do it for long though. When in public you are probably at some point going to hear a kid screaming and I don't get mad if I hear an upset child.

Okay for those drive thru people WE DON'T HAVE ANY not even a McD's! It's code that they are not allowed an again I was in the grocery store already so why go someplace else? It was not some quiet cafe where people want peace and quiet.

And I said exactly what happened. I did not correct myself to look better. I didnt think people would assume I let my kid just sit there screaming for 10 min.

It's sad. I miss the old BG where it was mothers supporting each other and having a place to vent. It you to be if you had nothing nice to say you closed the window an moved on not go around calling people who don't know AT ALL morons and bitches. Again just sad.

This! Seriously! I worked at Starbucks in a Safeway and heard children melt down every day... I would never ever dream of telling a customer to "put a muzzle on that kid". Or I would be saying it every day, and would be fired.

Congrats to all the parents who give in instead of disciplining, and leave their groceries in a cart right before leaving. I always hated walking around the store and putting those groceries back in their spots when I was busy with other things at work.

Agreed.
