disappointed

Went for my 38 week check up this morning. I am only 1.5 cm dilated and 50% effaced. So disappointed. I am in too much pain to not have progress.

Why are you disappointed? You still have 2 weeks left. Things could progress a lot in that time.

You still have plenty of time to progress   Hang in there. It's almost over!

1.5 cm is fine for 38 weeks, that's a whole half a centimeter then I was when I went into labour at 40 weeks.

This is my 3rd child and I thought I would have progressed more just because I am in constant pain. Im ok I just thought I would be at a 3 at least.
