So would I, but I can see their frustration.
I'm gonna ask a friend when I get the chance how he feels about this. He retired from there. We have a lot of Hostess shops and a bakery here.

And this is the 3rd time they've filed bankruptcy, or will be. It was inevitable.
The decreases would have just kept going on and on.

And about the earlier post about living under your means. Where does it end in a case like this? The decreases won't stop.
I say cut your losses and move on.

I disagree whole heatedly on this. I don't care who our President is (and I'm no Obama fan) I *never* want to see these numbers go up like this. Ever. To find justification for this kind of thing just to further vilainize our President is disheartening. I desire good things for our country, and Americans, despite who the President is.

Well the CEO and big wigs no longer have their jobs either ..kind of backfired on everyone..No I do not feel sorry for the big wigs.

Oh, it sucks, but think about all of the promises made that are broken. Jobless rates were supposed to be under 7.5% by now and they are going to go over 9%. I would be saying the same thing if Romney was president. I didn't want either of them and neither of them would have done a halfway decent job in the economy.

We NEED a total collapse to bring about a third party.

I agree. That is just disgusting.

My husband took several pay cuts before eventually being laid off. I'm going to have to vote on the employees being greedy on this. I would gladly take a pay cut over a job loss.

Besides, and I could be wrong here, but wasn't it just a certain section of employees (the bakers) that were striking? So now now not only did they lose their job, but everyone else's who was trying to work with the company. I could be wrong on that part though.

Right, these losses should have been addressed long ago, rather than giving the impression that the employee's are the actual cause of the financial problems.

Management did not address the problems in a timely manner, yet still gave themselves increases while asking other staff to take a cut?

No, it's not the bakers fault.

I dont think this has anything to do with the President. Ya I am actually sticking up for him. I cant stand the guy lol..

I hope not. I voted third party, but I'd never wish total collapse on my country just to get it.

Honestly, that makes me sick to my stomach.
