I am not sure I would sedate but for sure be seeking help. I wouldn't know how to handle that myself.

She sees an OT once a week, speech therapist once a week, a behavioral specialist 2x a week. And once every month or two a neuro developmental pediatrician. She's also on tenex. Just had an increase due to weight increase between july and now. So i think the 3.5 hour meltdown was related to the increase. I caved and called the dr to find out if it was ok to give her benedryl to calm her down. I didnt know if it would affect the tenex at all. They were saying ER but i didnt want her to have more than benedryl. But made me think, at what point do you realise you need to stop it immediately.
