Most convertibles can be put more upright for older babies/toddlers with good head control. Anywhere in the shaded area shown here: This means it will often take up less room front to back than the infant seat will. You can go to Babies R Us and try seats in your car before you buy, which could help you find the best fit. Also, you could try seeing a car seat tech in your area that will check everything for you for free. Thanks, we dont have a babiesrus around me but I will have to go talk to the technician, it looks like I have been angleing it back too far, I had been going by the little arrow on the car seat but it makes it practically laying down at that point so I get really confused on where its supposed to be.
