Nah. I'm not friends with anyone who would do anything weird with them. I mean, I use FB, Instagram, and Twitter, so...meh.

Yes, it does bother me, and I do ask them to take it down.

If they were a stranger, hell yes! If it was someone I know, no. Unless, like a PP said, it was a pedo thing!
If dd was on an outing with a friend and their family, for example, at the zoo let's say, and pictures were taken of her and said friend, then it wouldn't bother me at all if the mother posted them. I've actually done that! DD1 has friends come out with us all the time and when I take pics, I post them. I don't photograph the child by themselves, though. It's always with my dd if I'm taking one.

Here's the situation...

I have a "friend" (for lack of a better word) that apparently took a crapton of pictures of Patton and I, patton by himself, Patton and her... etc... while we were all just sitting around my house. When I say a crapton, i mean there are probably more pics of Patton on her instagram than of anything to do with her. She put them on Facebook too. This bothers me. let me be clear that it ONLY bothers me because a.) i did not know they were being taken and b.) she did not even have the respect to TELL me she uploaded them, much less ask permission.

Now then, she and i aren't really friends and we dont even speak anymore. i went to her instagram and fb to see if she'd deleted me and she hadn't, when i did that i noticed that she'd uploaded all these pics of my child and i. I dont like them being on there because i dont know how private her stuff is and i dont know who all has access to it. but, i dont want to ask her to remove them and then her get pissy and start a bunch of unnecessary drama because she thinks i'm looking for a reason to argue. I'm not, and had I known they were on there sooner i would've brought it up sooner sooo, i dont really know if its worth mentioning or not.

yeah, that's different than what im referring to. im referring to pictures of the child by themselves, randomly. like in a group setting if a friend of yours that had no children what-so-ever took pics of your kid playing and you didnt know it and they uploaded it.

How did you not see her taking pictures? Was she secretly taking them with her phone or something?

Yeah. They're of him (or he and i) doing random everyday things. they were taken with her cell. i guess she turned off her sound & flash, i dunno... it's weird. It wouldnt bother me if she had've asked or had've showed me or anything, but i didnt even know about them. "/

You can report the pics on FB and they will take them down.

I would contact the site and report it there is a button you can use on facebook when hovering over the photos to submit a complaint of why you want the picture removed and simply say they are not a friend and took the pictures without permission and posted them on thier site

Yeah that part makes it really weird.

No I am fine with it as long as it is not a creeper shot or something.
