Zoloft

posted 15th Nov
Are you on it? Do you like it? The only person I know in real life who's taken it is my ex/BD and he stopped taking it after a month because it gave him RLS and he couldn't sleep. I already get akathesia on Abilify and asked if that's a common side effect on Zoloft and she said no. Right now I'm googling it and it says 16% of people on Zoloft experience akathesia.

I feel so over medicated right now

I took it and reacted well when I was preg with dd. I was able to stop at 2 weeks pp. but yeah I had no problems but everyone's different. I know a lot of people do have weird issues. You just have to find what works for you mama.

How many mg were you on? She wants me to eventually go to 200mg because of anxiety and I guess it works for anxiety at the higher dosage. It just seems like so MUCH. I'm on 3 different things right now but one is just as needed.

Just the lowest one pill was cause I was preg. So I still had breakdowns. It they were less severe and less often. I think it was 50 mg.

I'm on it and I love it. I take 100mg a day. I've notice a HUGE difference and I just love it. I feel normal again.

i started taking it and then had to stop right away because i found out i started it on the day i conceived. it was prescribed for anxiety and it seemed to help within 2 or 3 days. i was only on 50mg, and even weaned down to 25mg to come off of it. i am considering going back on it now. no side effects, just a noticeable reduction in anxiety. i only took it for 6 weeks, though, but it worked great the whole time.

Yeah 50 is what I'm starting on then gradually building up. I'm glad you were able to discontinue the meds. I'm so scared of being medicated forever.

Just don't stop suddenly. That's bad. If you want off the meds, talk to you doc and you have to wean off it.

That makes me feel better. Any restlessness? That's what I'm most afraid of. I don't want to take two pills that are going to make me feel restless, especially since they'll both be taken in the morning with breakfast [which I should really start eating].
I'm glad you feel normal again! Feeling down and anxious sucks.

I'll be mostly taking it for anxiety so that's a relief. Hopefully it's awesome for me as well so I can get off the Klonopin. Those things are a bitch to come off of.

Yeah definitely. Especially with as much as I'm on right now, I can't imagine the withdrawals.

Well thats my fear. I don't wanna be med dependent but my depression and anxiety got so bad this preg again I was melting down every night. Wasn't Gettig out of bed except to go to work. Crying all the time. Suicidal. I hated myself. So now I'm on Wellbutrin. I could choose between that and Zoloft and my dr recommended wellbutrin this time cause I have no energy and it's supposed to help with energy. So far I feel less depressed and suicidal and can do more but not any more energy yet. But it's ony been a little over a week. So idk. Well see as a couple more weeks go by. I hate having to be medicated during preg

If I forget my pills and take them in the evening then I do find I have a hard time going to sleep, but if I take them in the morning, I have no problems at all.
