I'm so sorry, I understand how you feel.   I was the first to start TTC'ing from my June 2010 due date group, almost all the ladies from the group are pregnant again or had another child. PCOS too and my husband has male infertility. It took us 2.5 years to get pregnant with our daughter. We're TTC #2 and it's been 2 years already. Everybody I know in person and everybody I know online keeps getting pregnant but we can't. It's making me depressed.

Maybe upping your Metformin will help regulate your cycles? I was on 1700mg for years, I didn't get AF. Once I was bumped up to 2000mg I started getting AF more regularly.

I'm not sure how your doctor's office works but it takes a couple months for me to see my OB for fertility issues. I made the appointment a couple months before the 1 year mark so I could get in when it was 1 year exactly.

Your cycles are short? You may have a short luteal phase. Have you talked to your doctor about it, or is that normal with PCOS?

We are actually trying to figure this out. Because one time I will be normal and have it once a month. then the following month I would have it for way over 7 days then I stop for like 2 days and then i spot. Its really off and weird.

That makes sense. I have a couple friends with PCOS who have that issue. I would go in and talk to your OB and TTC and how often you're getting AF.

Make the appointment! If you get pregnant then you can go in for a prenatal appointment. That's how I look at it.
