How to conceive with no period???

I had Jayde about 16 months ago and still have no period. I still breastfeed her, so that probably has something to do with it. My first I got 14 months pp. my question is do I still ovulate with no period? Thank you all in advance!!!

You're not ovulating every month no. But the egg comes before the blood lol so whenever you do ovulate for the first time you won't know it until AF comes 2 weeks or so later.

You most likely aren't ovulating if you aren't getting a period and are breastfeeding

I didn't have a period for a whole year, then had one back in Jan. Then never had one again, then got pregnant.

I got pregnant without a period lol my last period was dec 26 & didn't have a period .... Then in may found out i was 7 weeks. didn't bleed at all or spot. So yes its possible.

I think the problem is that once you ovulate, you get a period. Sometimes you get lucky and sperm meets egg before you get your period, but there's no way to predict when ovulation is happening. I've heard of people doing temping while bf'ing to see if they think they might be ovulating, but i don't know how effective that is. Best advice for now if you don't feel like weaning is have a bunch of sex and hope you get lucky.

True! I probably just got lucky and caught the egg in time haha ;)

you do not have to have a period to ovulate. I have PCOS and haven't had a period since September 2011 and I got pregnant at the end of 2011. You just won't know when you are ovulating. So if you ARE wanting a child just write down when you have sex and take a test every month. That's what I always have to do. Not the writing down the sex part, but since I don't have periods I had to test every month to see if I was or wasn't pregnant.
