My daughter turned one yesterday and i want to start weaning her from her bottle.. she has taken sippys since she was 3 months old but she still take a bottle about 3-4 times a day.. she also takes a pacifier when she sleeps.. any suggestions would be very helpful.. i think this is going to be a tough transition

We had to completely take away the bottle, and he will only take the hard sippys. It was rough for a day or two, but he got the hang of it. Good luck!

My son loves that sippy! I've tried them all and that's the only one he'd take

I seriously just stopped giving them to my kids, and there was never an issue. Taylor isn't one yet and gets a bottle at night but that's it. (She turns 1 in a couple of weeks and we just pulled the bottle last week.)

Get the nuby transition cup, comes with 2 nipples 1st has the shape of a bottle nipple, then switch it to the other wich is a smaller version of the regular cup nipples,
And it comes with handles, this was only way I could. Transition Jade cuz she fought me on it but in few days she was ok with them

Oh and throw out all ur bottles, if she sees them or u know there there it will be harder... goodluck!!

It is! Plus it's fairly inexpensive and it's the only one that I've found that's truly leak proof. It also has the fewest parts so it's super easy to clean

if she is capable of taking a sippy... just stop offering the bottle.

or, I only offered cold water in the bottle after a year... and juice/milk in the sippy. My kids all dropped the bottle in a day like that.

my daughter only took a bottle to bed the rest of the time she nursed, but we switch cold turkey to just water at bed time. Maybe try switching the bottle to just water and her favorite drinks in the sippy. Soft spout are best. Nubby makes a trainign sippy. ity starts out with a round spout then you switch to the reg squarish ones

we dropped our son to bottles only before sleeping, than after a week went cold turkey, we used straw cups, he hated sippy cups (he was never big on tipping bottles either) so he never got the hang of them, plus with straw cups the liquid is not swirling around their teeth because it goes straight back to the throat which is better for their teeth

We just bought our DD this cup today and she's nearly 4 months old, it came with 2 tops, removable handles. One is a nipple shaped like a bottle nipple but it comes out like a sippy, the other is a sippy like nipple she loved it. as soon as I handed it to her she was drinking like a pro and she's breast fed. I was shocked how easy it was for her to switch over. Awesome come, and very spill proof

I love these cups we use them! and it was an awesome transition as soon as i saw her taking the cup very well, i threw all my bottles away...the only thing im trying to work on is her other actual sippy cups for juice...she will only take the ones with straws! lol
