Congratz boy or girl?

I am wondering about this too. I am due on the 21st of December and I think I am going to avoid going to anything and just stay home which is super depressing because it is my favorite holiday. I am just afraid because my mom smokes in her house and I don't want the baby near it and I don't want everyone passing around my newborn, when I am trying to bond with him! I feel like I will be really bummed out, but I guess it is better to rest instead of being super stressed out.

I wish I had some advice for you. My DD was born Dec. 15th but I was admitted to the hospital on Christmas Day with a terrible infection in my uterus. I spent 4 days in the hospital away from my DD and missed everything   All I can really say is do what you're comfortable with. Your family is going to be happy just to have you there. If you really want to go just don't over exert yourself.
