First Christmas?

So my LO will be about 4 months old come Christmas time and everybody keeps asking what to get him. He doesn't need any more clothes and I'm not sure on the toys since he's still kind of young and can't do much. I don't want people to spend a lot of money on something he can't use. Any suggestions on what to get a baby this young?

savings bonds? Gift cards? You can always use the gift cards at a later date for whatever he wants or needs when he gets a little older.

bigger sized clothes, toys for when he is crawling or older.. sippy cups spoons and stuff for feeding
my LO was 3 months at christmas and I just asked for stuff I could use later and put them back for when we needed them.. saved me money that way

Toys he can use when he's older. It doesn't all have to be stuff for "right now". I loved it when people bought toys LO could use when he got older.

People in our family are adding money to her college fund. It's an account that anyone can access to put money in via website. Idk if you have something like that. Otherwise if your house isn't baby proof yet (you don't have gates, plugs for outlets, latches for cupboards, etc...) you could ask for that stuff since it get's pricey and your LO will start crawling not much later.

people in my family are getting him toys for when he is sitting up and crawling
