Woman dies after being denied an abortion

I think their laws definitely need to change, what do you think? Even if they didn't think her life was in jeopardy they knew she was miscarrying and was in extreme pain. Also it should have been obvious that the pregnancy and miscarriage were detrimental to her health simply by seeing the pain she is in and her vital signs :/ It's a sad senseless death

Very sad =( I read this yesterday I think and it breaks my heart. Poor women, and now her husband who lost her =(

So senseless. When your laws are causing the deaths of women you can't really call yourself pro-life anymore. . . .

And this is why I want anortions legal among other reasons

Pro lifers?
I would never get an abortion but don't have anything against those who are pro-life. I believe everyone should be able to make that decision for themselves even if sometimes it isn't "right" (aka women who use it as a form of birth control, that makes me sick)

If they knew she miscarried why not do a DnC?!?! I read where if a heart beat can still be detected no abortion can happen, but if they knew she was Mcing there wasnt a HB right? So sad and senseless...

I watched the video and the baby still had a heartbeat which is why they wouldn't abort, even though it was obvious that she was miscarrying and the baby would end up dying anyways

My understanding is that they knew she'd lose the babies, but until the heartbeat was gone they couldn't do a DnC. They had to wait until the heartbeat stopped even if they KNEW she was miscarrying and that she'd lose them.

I feel for her family, her husband especially.

So sad that a massive infection wasnt enough risk to tell everyone an abortion was legal, since her life was clearly at risk

Pro Life means you care about the life of a child. People like this are pro birth, because they don't give a smurf what happens to a child once it's born. Once it's out, it's the system's problem, not theirs. That's not pro-life. That's pro-birth.

Pro-life implies that you are going to care for the baby after it is born. Pro-birthers are the ones who literally only care for the fetus and want to force it to be born regardless of the circumstances.
