The baby can have a bowl movement inside of you and then could possibly aspirate on the poop. It will also make you have horrible diarrhea. The only reason people *seem* to think that it helps you progress is because it is possible that the diarrhea and stomach issues you get from it can cause contractions. Regardless your body will not go into labor if it isn't ready to begin with.

I've never done it. But I worked as a CNA when I was younger and helped put it on an old lady's toenails to get rid of fungus ;) lol one of my good friends did and she said it did nothing but give her the smurfs.

most the time it doesnt work it just makes you smurf! why they say it works is because it stimulates your bowels which can cause you to go into labor from contractions... the last thing i would want it loose bowls when I was in labor! YUCK!
