After c section

Hey i had an emergency c section oct 3rd, 2012 and 3 weeks after i stopped bleeding and then 3 more weeks passed and now that i hit the 6 week mark im bleeding again. Does anyone know why. I c my dr tomorrow.

It could be your period, if you're sure you were done with your postpartum bleeding.

It's your first PP period. Your dr will probably still check you, just call & make sure.

Thanks all. I was kinda thinking it was my first period. Its not very heavy its light. Ive had the same pad on since 930am

C-section w/ baby #2 and 9 I bled for a whole 18 days then had my 1 st period 4-6 weeks later! Your body is still w/in the PP time frame and it varies among all of us! The bleeding is only of concern of how much vs. for how long in the PP time frame!!

I was told i will bleed for 4-6 weeks and its been 6 weeks. I had my daughter on oct 3rd which was a wednesday.

After I had DD (I had a c-section too) I had PP bleeding for 3 weeks, then got my period the day before my 6 week check up. So it could be your period.

once you have gone 7 consecutive days w/out bleeding/spotting then it is consider finished. So this probably is the firsith baby #10 he was a vaginal and I had bleeding/spotting the whole 4 weeks PP before i initially stopped @ the 4 week mark I started to bleed heavily it scared me so bad and of course because it was w/in the 6 wk of PP I went to ER it was said to be an EARLY heavy period!

my 3rd baby turned 19 on Oct. 3rd and my 9th child turned 3 yrs.old on the 4th of Oct. almost had him the 3rd too!! Congrats BTW!

thanks. WOW u have 10 kids. Bet u got ur hands full. I really hope its jus my first period.
