True. It just is not the same thing as having your own nation, ykwim? I think that while the English had their hearts in the right places, they really did not think this proposal through.

I know it's not the same. But it might be better because they don't have to fear for their lives everyday.

In my tour of Germany they said they voted him in as Chancellor so they could keep an eye on him and then the President died and he became president and they were like Oh smurf that backfired.

Israel is their holy land. The while Jerusalem thing is why they wat to be there. Then again, it's the holy land for all the abrahmatic religions, so they are always going to fight over it.

I'm going in 2014, I'm so excited! My family is from Castellammare del Golfo..so I'm pretty sure that's why I love the beach haaha.

Beautiful. I was in Italy this past summer, and those Latin countries are so romantic and stunning!

By that logic theres plenty of places for Palestinians to go to. Like any other country in the Middle East.

I've never been to Italy. It's actually only my mom's side of the family that's Italian, but I only identify with my mom's side. My dad is German, Danish, Lithuanian, and Ukrainian. I went to Germany a few weeks ago and felt no real connection there. But since I spend a lot of time with the 1st generation on my mom's side we still have a lot of Italian customs/food/traditions.

But they didn't take the Israelis land. It was the other way around.

And the Israeli's didnt take the Palestinians land. They both consider it they're land and they're land only. The Israelis have been in Israel since the dawn of time. They were constantly thrown out or ruled by invading forces.
